Sea of Vitality
Posted by Admin on February 18th, 2009 filed in UncategorizedHere is a super fast and easy way to get yourself going on one of those slow mornings when you really wanted to stay in bed. This is also very effective for boosting the immune system, so use it often!
This is a massage that is based on a Chinese accupressure point that is called Sea of Vitality.
Rub your hands together until the friction makes them warm.
Fold your hands behind your back at your waist level having your thumbs parallel to your spine (about a finger-width away from the spine).
Rub quickly up and down while pressing your thumb knuckles onto your skin. Do this for about one minute.
Relax for several seconds and breathe deeply. Do you notice the warmth that radiates from that area? This can be done either on bare skin or through light clothing.
It’s so easy to do! You don’t even want to use massage oil because the friction from the rubbing could irritate the skin if oil is used.
If you try this, please tell me what you think!
