Traditional Time Pieces

fendi_25663I am just old-fashioned enough to be stubbornly clinging to wearing a instead of switching over to using a cell phone or other electronic device for time keeping. I have been observing this trend over recent years and it actually makes me a little sad.

A good is not only a reliable time-piece, but it can say something about you. It can be a statement of style and can be a nice accessory to complete an outfit.

I found a site today as I was thinking about all of this. This site was nice to browse through because it was easily organized and finding the style and pricing that I was looking for was simple and fast. Their selection was extensive as well. After much consideration and looking, I narrowed it down to the Fendi watches and found this one that I really like:

So…now it’s your turn to weigh in. Are you sticking to a for or are you switching over to other ways to keep track of the time?

I just found your website, and immediately put it on my favorites list.
In regard to watches…. My all time favorite up until last year was Timex, because of the abuse I put things through in my profession. However, last year I bought a new one, and within about a month the battery died. I kept forgetting to get a new battery, and over time I’ve come to realize that a watch isn’t needed. With practice (?) it eventually becomes easy to determine what time it is. I don’t know exactly how, but it seems my awareness of everything is sharper now that I don’t have a piece of jewelry telling me when to do things. Maybe living more in the moment helps to see the illusions more clearly.
