Who doesn’t need more energy? Here are a few things I recommend:

  1. Eat berries! This is especially true of berries that are blue, red, or purple. Their color comes from anthocyanins, which is a powerful antioxidant that boosts energy.
  2. Wear bright happy colors and you’ll find that you get a bright happy attitude projected towards you. This will boost your own mood and energy levels.
  3. Try a lavender scent. Research has shown that a lavender scent increases people’s alertness.
  4. Don’t let yourself get dehydrated. Dehydration causes fatigue.
  5. Stay away from energy drinks. While they provide an instantaneous boost, they always result in a crash.
  6. Citrus scents stimulate alertness. Grapefruit essential oil is especially effective at producing an alert mood.
  7. Think positively. An optimistic outlook on life keeps your energy level up.
  8. Laugh! Laughter is great for what ails you. Laugh regularly to keep your mood up.
  9. Turn off the computer and go socialize with friends.

By the way…barcode scanners have nothing to do with this post, but nevertheless, are a necessary item for retailers. This is one item I have never really given much thought, but I happened to visit this site tonight and I was intrigued by the many different types of barcode scanners that exist!
