I think I’ve done this before, but I’m in the mood for a “Simple Pleasures” list. You know…those wonderful little things that make you smile and be happy you’re alive?

5. Lemonade on a hot day

7. A good book and a warm afghan

9. A meal of satisfying comfort food
10. An empty laundry hamper
11. Freshly washed bedding
12. Crackling fire in the fire place
13. Clean windows on a sunny day
14. Crisp newspaper and a hot cup of coffee
15. Clean house and nothing pressing to be done
16. A phone call from an old friend
