I consider myself so lucky that I am able to earn a living from my home…in my pajamas and bunny slippers, if I want! Days when I have more time I can work ahead and then take a few days off when I need to. My schedule is such that I can just as easily work at 3 pm or 3 am…whatever works for me can make me money.
Don’t get me wrong…those that find employment at healthcare job sites can do very well, I’m sure. This works for me, though. With my large family and commitment to taking care of my family and home, finding the ability to work from home on the Internet has been an unbelievable blessing for my family.
We have been plagued with a curious mold in our basement this summer. It’s pink…and spreading. Our basement is an unfinished, rough place that we venture only when we need something out of the refrigerator or freezer we keep downstairs. So, the mold has not been a huge priority…that is, until we discovered it marching across the room.
I’m lobbying hard for a basement dehumidifier to take care of the moisture down there. When I googled “pink mold” I learned that this kind of mold needs a very moist environment to thrive. I think we need to dry out our basement pronto! Thankfully, we do not have a forced air system in our home so the mold spores are not readily spreading throughout the home…but it still needs to be taken care of.
