I admit it – I’ve been doing my share of shopping lately trying to get ready for this baby. Nothing to the tune of Cyber Monday or anything…but I’ve been making the rounds at all the baby websites trying to find some good deals on little frilly things.

You really cannot beat the convenience of online shopping when time is short or the ability to get out is challenging. I am pretty content to wander around a website instead of wandering around a store…especially with these swollen feet and ankles I’m sporting these days.

I just happened upon a site today that offers some very interesting clearance savings. You even have a choice between shopping online or shopping at one of their 750 participating brick-and-mortars.

Shop for computers and accessories, home entertainment, audio players, cameras, cell phones…you name it. Some very good prices, from what I saw also. I’m a gadget person, so I had to check out the gadgets to see if they had anything interesting. I found a mini vacuum cleaner perfect for little touch-ups around a desk area that I thought looked handy. I also saw a USB-powered hand warmer. For someone with perpetually icy hands during the winter, this might just become mine…for $7.49, too!

Which do you prefer? I make no bones about the fact that I will choose online shopping over braving cold, traffic and crowds on Black Friday anyday. There was a time when I would be out there with the best of them…but those days are long gone.

How can Black Friday compete with shopping in my warm slippers and robe in my comfy chair? No way! Over the last weeks I’ve overheard snippets of conversations here and there about Black Friday excursions people either were planning or had…and this kind of shopping just isn’t for me.

So…which do you prefer? Which did you do?
