From Procrastination to Action

Are you stuck in inaction? Having problems with , , and ? Time to form some new habits instead…some habits that will get you moving and start getting things done. These techniques can be used both professionally and personally. Try this and see what I mean…Soon you’ll be reorganizing the rubber stamps and cleaning out the junk drawers!

Here are some suggestions for moving away from toward :

  1. Make a plan each day for two or three important tasks that must be accomplished. This should not be a time-consuming step. Make your plan and get on with it!
  2. Pick one and visualize for a moment how it will look when it is finished.
  3. Get going and start getting it done! Right away!
  4. Focus on doing the job as well as you can.
  5. Complete the job, pat yourself on the back and move on to the next job.
  6. Keep practicing this method until it becomes a habit.
